To find the median of 10 numbers, if the 5th and 6th are the same, like 48, is the median 48?

Median: the middle value in a set of data.

When there are 10 numbers in a set of data, such as this one, than median is found by adding both numbers and than dividing by 2, i.e. finding the average, (5th+6th)/2.

Since both numbers are 48 in this one, than (48+48)/2

                                                              =96/2

                                                              =48.

So, yes if the 5th and 6th are the same, like 48, the median is 48.
