In "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", how is Brom Bones' horse, Daredevil, similar to him in its apperance and actions?

Both Brom and Daredevil are big and ill-tempered. The story tells of how Brom's muscle and machismo were noted qualities of his, and Daredevil isn't much different: muscular, but poorly adjusted. The horse's attitude, among other things, is what may lead the reader to believe that Brom posed as the headless horseman, who is ultimately blamed for Crane's disappearance.

While there is speculation at the story's end about Ichabod and his sudden departure, it is left up to the reader to decide how and why the schoolmaster left.
