How do you figure simple number percentages, such as 125% of 48.


Percentage is a number expressed as a ratio or a fraction of 100. We can get the percentage of a number by dividing it by 100.


In this case  125% of 48


                = 125/100 * 48


                = 1.25 * 48


                = 60 Answer.
